Here is a little rant I had today when someone talked about voting for those that support abortion in any form. It does vent a little of the issues that have been inside me for a while now. This is not a "my candidate is better than yours" type of thing, not in any form an approval for Huckabee. I mean, for all I know or anyone else, Huckabee could be worse than any of them, but that is the point, we do not know, we have to view on the surface what we see and respond. On the surface, all Christians have been given a choice.
It is more clearly, that this election we have a series of candidates that have marked out quite well, what it is that they stand for and some people who call themselves Christian or even worse, "Christian Leader" choose to approve those that directly state they are against life and family.
This insanity is like no other election I can remember and I wonder, with the shortness of the hour, exactly what this will mean. Well, before I make the introduction any longer, here is the post I ranting in today:

On no... It is me again...
I find it hard to believe that any person (I mean any) that bend their knee to Yeshua would ever for any reason vote for McCain or any other person who supports abortion at any level. You are talking about an act that is directly against everything a TRUE Christian believes and should live by.
This year, my eyes have been opened to the evil that is flooding our country at every level, even inside what we call "The Church". Where are the people with values? Where are those that say will take a stand for truth and justice without compromise, with full trust in our King, not in man? Where? I do not see them! I see people who have proclaimed how Godly and Christian they are for decades, now voting for people like Rudy.. Hillary.. Obama... God forgive us!
Now, I will take the gloves off and say has been really in my thoughts lately :)
Many people say they are Christian, they have said the prayer, they pay tithes, they attend church, the pray and sing songs, but WE have allowed ourselves to become desensitized to God's Spirit, to truly hearing Him speak that we live our lives quenching the Spirit of God when He beings forth conviction upon, we continue to work, pay bills, by toys and enjoy as much as possible, justfying our fleshly thoughts and views. Now many cannot see or hear, they live by their flesh and its desires without hearing from God anymore.
Back in 9.11, a number of people woke up from their slumber of hedonism and cried out to God. That last for a few years and now many are back into that same slumber. It is obvious by this election which has been like no other at any time in history.
My vote will reside with God regardless of the outcome. Lou Engles wrote about the issue recently and did a great job as usual. Basically, at times God will bring judgement when His people turn or ignore Him. You can fight God in your flesh and try to pick a lessor evil, but you are still picking evil. You look to God and say, "I know this is not exactly the perfect thing, but it is better than my other options"...
Maybe it is time for Judgement to come to this nation and to the people. Perhaps after judgement comes, people change and repent then restoration can begin. Do you really think God wants you to vote for someone that thinks so little of human life or on the sanctity of marraige? Why would God do that? Can you imagine God saying, "yeah, here is what you have to choose from, evil, evil or little evil, you had better pick the lessor evil". Yep, not going to happen, God is loves all those children that are murdered around this globe every day and He would NEVER want you to put someone in office who will allow it at any level. Do I claim to know the mind of God? YES, He has expressed it in a work of art called the Bible.
Should we lean to our own understanding? Should we vote so a corrupt Republican party can remain in office (which is not going to happen anyway). Sell our morals out for what?
Everyone that is truly a Christian needs to step back, get down on those knees and draw close to God. He does not tell people different things, if you ask Him for truth, that is what you will get. If it does not line up with others, then someone is wrong and the life of millions should not be on the line when you are not sure.
I mentioned before that this election was like no other. God is not waiting for us to make up our mind on who we will vote for and what issues are important to us, He has put an option in front of the USA. I do not know what goes on inside of Mike Huckabee. I do not know how deep his faith goes nor the truth behind his word, nor do I think anyone other than God can know. That given though, in this race we have had many options and of those options, on the surface there has been ONE CLEAR Christian leader who continues to bring God into the subject everywhere he goes. Seems kind of funny doesn't it? I mean think about it, how often have you ever seen a candidate like Huckabee (again I am only talking about what can be seen on th surface)? I know of none...
Okay, most of us agree that God is in control. He knows what is going on and we are only suppose to do what He has told us, which the matter is clear when we read the Bible. So, why then are Christian voting for anyone other than Huckabee? Does any have them have the issues (the ones God would care about) other than Huckabee? Has any that have dropped out fit that bill? Nope, not one, just Huckabee.
I believe this is the year God is saying, I am setting bless or curse in front of you. Choose this day which it will be. Unfortunately, quite a number of people claiming to be Christian from all levels have made the wrong choice. Is it right for God to bring the curse? Yes, He will and it will be coming via Obama or Hillary if Huckabee does not get the nomination!
Yeah, you think I am crazy, and often I am, but not in this area. You pray, you ask God, pay close attention and then tell me you do not feel anything, that God wants you to vote for McCain because there are judges at stake, they are other issues that will bring horrible things if the dems get in office. Just how would the dems get in office if God was not allowing it?....
My vote is for Huckabee or NONE OF THE ABOVE. I stand as a Christian, a person who has been "born again", who has become a new creation in Yeshua and I tell you that there will never, for any reason be a vote for me for McCain or any other candidate that does not support life and family!
Let either bless or curse come, I have made my choice, I only wish others who claimed the to be Christian would do that same, Huckabee would have already got the nomination...
Yes, you might not like Huckabee and maybe you feel he is a fake and want no part of him, then God has still given you a choice, "None of the above".... You do not have other Gods, and that includes political parties, you do not vote for a lessor evil because you have a political agenda.
