Today I was checking out a few numbers and thought I would look up GDP and our population. The GDP is estimated at $13 Trillion (for those that do not think in large numbers it is $13,000,000,000,000. There are supposed to be around 111,000 households in the USA. Doing simple math it would break down to over $117,000 per year per household!
I know that the GDP cannot be viewed as simple income, but what kind of ballpark are we looking at when the wealth of the USA is broken down and divided up by household? It appears many people live far below the level while small number live far beyond the mark. How many households are doing way below their share because because we have over 430 Billionaires. Just look at Mexico, they have 10 Billionaires but many of the people live far below a decent quality of life.
Greed seems to take people over and makes them blind to their responsiblities of having such wealth. I still believe that there should be a law that there can be no Billionaires until everyone is at least Millionaires...
Yep, time to hike Minimum Wage to $35 per hour!
