The FCC approved Microsoft's application for the Zune media player, the soon to be iPod competitor.  Zune appears to come with:

  • 3 inch screen
  • 30 GB hard drive
  • FM turner
  • 802.11 WiFi
  • USB 2.0 port

Should be a pretty hot device if it lives up to all the hype!  Wonder if it will have a compatible iPod port to use all the iPod accessories the multitude of third party companies have released.  It looks like the tech world in Christmas will be getting interesting this year...

This could be kind of cool, but they have to figure a place for at least a little storage space as it does not appear to have any.

Sure would be nice to get 300 mpg running a hybrid diesel engine.  From the size of this three wheelers, it would sem more like driving an enclosed motorcycle, I just wonder if it is comfortable.  It is supposed to $20,000 when in production.

I recently needed to create a voice mp3 file for my site www.TheAwakening.com.  After very little searching, I found this cool free audio editor that makes it a breeze to record and edit audio files from a microphone.  Not only is it great editor and free, but it is also open source.

If you are making a podcast, playing with some audio files or want to build your our audio files with multiple tracks, try out this cool product at:

Note: For MP3 capabilities, you will additionally need to download the “Lame Encoder”, but there are easy instructions on where to get that file along with how to use at at the Audacity site.

This is just too cool!  With the help of Google Maps, they created a little flight like game where you can use your cursor keys to fly around certian cities. When you go up, the photos of the ground reduce and when you go down they increase, just remember to pull up before you hit the ground :)
